| Todd
Rundgren |
Yes,
I spent long nights
listening to Todd Rundgren's "A Wizard, A True Star" with headphones.
In fact, I have most of his stuff from the 70's and 80's. Todd's a big
influence - writing from personal experience and experimenting with
multimedia. For me, he was also a gateway to other things like... |

Perhaps
the best XTC site. I've been a fan since junior high school - 82. By
then, they had already released 4 CD's ranging in style and production
from punky sci-fi pop to noise poems to lush celtic ballads. They now
have more than a dozen CD's out. They've influenced nearly everyone.
Andy Partridge, the group's principle songwriter, is ALSO a painter. |

Neil

first hearing Split Enz' "I Got You". This is Neil's site - pretty
nifty. If you haven't guessed, he and Tim are also painters. |

Ken
Butler - musician, artist, inventor with a unique vision. He designs
and builds all of his instruments from junk. Then he manages to play
beautiful music on these sculptures. He was featured on EMI
(experimental musical instruments) 1998 compilation CD "Gravikords,
Whirlies and Pyrophones." You may have seen him in little short films
between videos on MTV 2. |

The
"Soft Bulletin" was amazing. We saw them twice on that tour. A near
perfect multimedia blend of summer-flavored optimism. The album
"Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" is great too. |
